The goals of Orange County Main Street, Inc are:
DESIGN
- Capitalize on Orange County's best assets - historic building and downtown business districts
- Create an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere through window displays, signage, sidewalks, parking areas, and other elements that convey a message about what Main Street is and what it has to offer
- Establish programs that promote the preservation of our downtown architectural design and heritage
ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING
- Assisting expansion of existing downtown businesses
- Recruiting new businesses in response to changing markets
- Convert unused space into productive properties
- Sharpen the competitiveness of business enterprises
PROMOTION
- Market the attributes of our downtown business district to shoppers, investors, new businesses and visitors
- Create effective promotional strategies through collaboration on advertising, retail promotional activities, special events, and marketing campaigns
ORGANIZATION
- Build consensus and cooperation among the stakeholders
- Maintain a sound organizational structure that encourages participation of volunteers and ensures financial stabilty
- Recruit new members
- Establish policies and strategic plans for the organization
